Flitesong Cage Bird Sanctuary

FLITESONG is PRIVATELY FUNDED through generous donations of private funds and out-of-pocket funding by the sanctuary's owner.

Flitesong is NOT a 501(c)3, so any donations are NOT tax-deductible - although the are of course always appreciated! A receipt for your records is available for in-kind or monetary donations so you have a written record of your generosity.

SPONSORSHIPS

Consider sponsoring a type of bird, such as finches, cockatiels, or conures, that live at Flitesong. You can make a monetary gift toward their care at any time, in any amount. You can also decide to sponsor an individual bird that you cannot adopt, either due to its sanctuary (life-time) status here or because you are not in a position at this time to provide an adoptive home. This is a good choice for many who want to know that they are helping the Flitesong birds in some way.

DONATIONS IN KIND

Donations in kind, such as bird food, bird toys, new perches, cages, and other accessories, are always gratefully accepted.

VETERINARY ASSISTANCE

Veterinarians who wish to support Flitesong might consider giving a discount to us for services rendered or a discount to new adopters who want to have a well-bird examination done.

AVIARY ASSISTANCE

Thank you to the people who have offered over the past ten years to come over to clean cages or feed and water the birds. I have a specific routine that the paid aviary assistants and I follow that would be time-consuming to explain to volunteers. Also, the birds are not used to visitors.Your intent to help is gratefully acknowledged.
