SUCCESSES!
First picture on the left, Zyanna sharing yummy stuff with Benni, a Severe Macaw. Next is Zyanna with Neen-yo, an Illiger's Macaw who made friends immediately with Zy and her husband, Lee.
Here is Tim, with Wobbles, Black-Capped Conure, and O-Mally, Lilac-Crowned Amazon. Tim and Grace also adopted two sweet budgies. Think their birds are maybe just a little spoiled?
Then we have Miss Zoey the Beautiful, a Chattering Lory, with Tammy.
Next is Amy with Blue Girl, a blue-headed pionus, enjoying some quality time together. Sebastian is the gorgeous Blue and Gold Macaw with Jonathon, Amy's husband, who looked long and hard for the right macaw friend.
Bella is the U2 shown with
the foot toy. She was fostered for quite awhile by TJ, then went to
Granby to live with Bill and Debbie.
The two African Greys are Clucker
(left) and Maggie (right), who found a wonderful home with Melody and
her family.
Here is Bren with Gussy and
Frenchie, Green-cheek Conures (both pets, not breeders). Bren's flock is
quite varied, from small to large parrots. Also, see below for more successful adoptions.

Over the years, Flitesong has successfully placed some very special birds with some very special people. It takes a big heart and lots of patience to work with birds that have been perceived as no longer sweet, no longer useful, too old, or too infirm to warrant the attention and care they needed. And sometimes they needed a new home because their former owner could no longer care for them or had a change in life circumstances that meant they could no longer keep their bird - but reluctantly and with heavy heart gave them up for adoption. Thank you to all of the wonderful people who have opened their homes to these little (and big) birds, so they could have a new chance for happiness. Flitesong is forever indebted to you for your generosity of spirit and kindness toward these feathered wanderers who found loving, permanent homes with you.
